ZR 900 Cylinder question

Quick question regarding jug, mine have the small hole up at the variable exhaust (decompression hole) port. Can I use a jug without the hole there, or will it effect something? Thanks guys...[media]https://www.snowandmud.com/forum/images/smilies/beer.gif[/media]

Yes you can. It just might be a bit harder to pull over. I'm curious though....you found a jug without it? I know some guys that have welded the hole shut. Is that the case here?

I ran into this same problem when i rebuilt my 900. Ive been running one cylinder withoout the small hole and one with for the past 3 trips to the mountains and havent noticed any problems.
