Not sure if you guys have ever seen the bolts in the back end of the skis....
I will post pics when I can.
I have always ran a 3/8 bolt with head of bolt out the bottom of the ski about an inch, with a cpl other nuts spread out on the threads of bolt, to space it out the thickness of the ski.
Drill the hole right near the back of ski on the inside corner and put the bolt up through the bottom and then the top nut or "wing-nut" :)
on the top to secure it. Never have to worry about forward / reverse issues all day, until time to load. (DON'T FORGET TO TAKE BOLT OUT PRIOR TO LOADING ) !!!!! :)
Randy at Motor Tech in Golden used to even make them and sell them to us all the time. He would take a 3/8" piece of bar and tig weld a carbide tip on the bottom end of it. I have never ran any other scratchers in 15 years and never replaced a set of sliders due to over heating !!!
