Great product. I always plug my pan heater and block heater in together. Valve covers on my duramax are warm to the touch on a -30 morning.

I'd rather run the pan heater than the block heater if I had to choose one. These motors need oil to "squirt". Anyone whos seen cold oil knows there isn't any squirting going on.

I was looking to cut my pre-heat time down on my 11.1 Ltr Series 60 Detriot so this thread was perfect timing!!! Just ordered a "In Pan" one from them. Between that and my block heater my old girl should have no problem starting

I see Acklands carries them in Canada but they are about $250 for the 500 watt. On the Wolverine website they are about $100. I'm not sure if they would sell direct to me because they have a canadian link that takes me to the Acklands site. Does anyone in Canada besides Acklands sell them? If not I will order it of Ebay.

Thanks.

I purchased mine direct from them $169.95 + Shipping. My model was the one that goes directly into your oil pan. Give them a call, they were great to deal with.

Thanks, I will give them a call. There is a store on Ebay that sells them for $99. Hopefully they will be able to come close to what it would cost to order online and pay the shipping and other B.S. charges.

Find an A&I Products dealer close to you. I am here (Saskatchewan) and it isn't a Wolverine brand (I believe it a Katz) and I can sell the 500 watt for around $100. Part number is A-24500. I just looked and there's 3 A&I dealers in Kamloops. I'd guess one would stock them.

I bought a stick on one from Canadian Tire two winters ago that I use with my block heater. On a -40 morning within 10mins of driving my f350 diesel I have heat in the cab. Absolutely a must!
