We are a long way and many rocks to the snow line. Nothing in the upper Elk Valley but it is snowing above 5000'.

Still not much in the south Okanagan, either. Same as you guys: A little at the top above 7000' , but green grass at 5700'.

i'd rather deal with rocks than crevasses. need a lot of snow before glaciers are good to go

we were up on sat. had fun but need more snow. no damage done. pic are in the McBride section. unloaded at 8 km in about 8 inches on the trail.

I usually try to go out this weekend to mcbride, but it looks like a late season. This was 2 years ago this time.

Glaciers are not safe until there is 4-5 ft of snow to cover all the crevasses.
