a huge turnout (finally have nice weather & Snow - Yahoo)

Well what a way to start off the season
​

FIRST CLUB RIDE:
​

EVENT: SANTA`s TOY RIDE
​

DATE: Sunday January 12, 2014​

TIME: meet at the staging area 10:30am ready to ride at 11:00am - ride to​

about 2:30pm - then BBQ and social
​

(Any volunteers wishing to assist in the setup of this ride please show up
​

at 9:30-10:00am Sunday Morning to help)
​

LOCATION: At Hay Lakes, turn south of Highway 21 at Range Road 215,
​

approximately 1 km (Flaggers will be at the intersection to direct you to
​

the parking area)
​

WEATHER: Excellent -4 degrees predicted for the day
​

The ditches have the most snow in 10 years, so will be excellent
​

This is a Santa`s anonymous ride which we ask you to bring an unwrapped​

toy/gift and drop it off at the TCSC equipment trailer in the staging area
​

Also instead of a toy/gift you can just make a donation too. See Brian at​

the TCSC Trailer
​

This is a FAMILY RIDE for about 25km one way or 50km round trip in the​

ditches of Hi-Way 21
​

(We have the proper paperwork from the Counties, RCMP and Department of
​

Transport for this legal ride)
​

Will ride north from Hay Lakes along Hi-way 21 west ditch up to Hi-way 625 -
​

stop for a break and then ride back to Hay Lakes
​

There will be a Free BBQ and refreshments at the staging area upon our
​

return around 2:30pm
​

Everyone/kids are welcome to ride around the fields back at the BBQ after
​

the main ride too.
​

This ride is open to everyone with Registration, Insurance and helmets - but
​

also dress warm for the weather that day.
​

Alberta Snowmobile Association Trail Passes and Tri-County Snowmobile Club
​

memberships will be for sale at the TCSC Trailer too.
​

You could try looking the "Tri County Snowmobile Club's" Website, it may be there.

think its 35 mins from Sherwood park.

I'm coming from South west Edmonton down the Henday, Is it directly off of hwy 21? Thanks

as far as I know yes. follow 21, turn south onto rr215 and it's right there.

Can't miss it. As mentioned, take the Henday to highway 21. Follow 21 South. Turn right onto the First Range Road past the HayLakes town enterance (be on your left).

Then you'll see the trailers set up in a field on your right side.

This is the Staging point for the Toy ride Only.

Actual Ministik staging areas are further North. Let me know if you want those directions as well.

Yes,

The initial ride is just ditches. But lots of fields where we stage. and people can field ride after the event.
