Whitecourt to Swan Hills

Jan 15th 2011, Meet @ the PetroCan on Hwy 60, just south of yellow head. Leaving the gas station at 8a.m. (come sooner if you plan on eating at the A&W). Will travel Hwy 16 to Hwy 43, through Whitecourt. Turning right on Hwy 32 towards Swan Hills. (turn is just before casino). Staging area is on the left side just past the bridge. Will stage from there. should arrive around 10-10:30. Lets try Whitecourt to Swan Hills this time. Pack a lunch, water, snacks and extra mitts. We don't need to make the whole length but we can try. this can be a family trip if we want it to be. Be licensed, Registered, and insured. Please no Alcohol, (as we are promoting safe riding and we are representing the Tri-County club). I have a 4 spot inclosed. if anyone wants they can chip in for gas and ride up with me.

Please also be sure to have ASA trail passes. This trail has not been groomed yet due to lack of snow but there have been riders out on the trail system. The south end of the trail maintained by the Whitecourt Trailblazers has all been cleared of deadfall but I can not gaurantee that the north end (from letter 'O' north to Swan Hills) has been completed by the Swan Hills club. I can ask around for you.
