Hey All, does anyone have any information about the Family Day Weekend Poker Rally in Whitecourt?

SUNDAY RIDES PROGRAM
January 7, 14, 21 & 28, 2007
February 4, 11 & 25, 2007
March 4 & 11, 2007

Riders interested in joining a Sunday Ride should plan on being at the Eagle River Snowmobile Staging Area (NW of Whitecourt on Hwy #32) by 12:00 Noon on Sundays. The ride leaves the Staging Area by 12:30 PM. The Sunday Rides Program offers newcomers to the community and tourists the opportunity to ride with a Club Member who will lead a group for a 3 to 4 hour ride through the trail system. The ride usually includes a stop for a trail lunch. Participants should dress for the weather and bring their own trail lunch. Sunday Rides for any given Sunday will be cancelled if the temperature is below -15C at 12:00 Noon.

oh, alright, are you still in to the sport?

not as much as I would like to be, but right now I'm still very involved in my local club, and of course Snowandmud...... I may be moving to the east coast in about a year or two so I'm just paying off debts and will buy a new sled and quad when I go out there. We'll see how the girlfriend thing goes

Someone will win a Yamaha Nitro MTX Sled
Pre-register at the Seniors Circle on
Friday, February 15 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Registration Saturday, February 16 and Sunday, February 17
will take place from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
Each day will feature separate Men's, Women's and Junior's prizes
Poker hand are $10.00 each and give you one entry for the
grand prize draw on the Yamaha Nitro MTX sled
Grand prize draw on Sunday at 6:00 p.m.
ASA trail passes are required and sold at the rally. Day passes are $15.00 each.
Vehicle parking is north of the firehall...follow the signs.

After a meeting tonite there are a couple of changes to the rules of the poker rally.
These events are considered by Alberta gaming to be raffles and therefore we cannot sell hands to participants under the age of 18. That being said, there are no limits to the number of hands that each adult can buy, and what they do with the prizes is completely up to the winner.

I'm stuck out here at work.....Can I buy silent rider hands and still be eligable to be entered in to the draw for the new Yammy Nitro?

I might have to get someone to do that for me as well, stuck working all weekend. The guys that could work for me are riding this weekend, so no rally for me.
