Where will it land - Chinese Rocket debris

There is Chinese rocket debris falling from the outer orbit down to earth and will land somewhere, hopefully in the ocean somewhere. Its travelling at the speed of 18000 mph so if impacting an occupied area on the earth you wont know what ever happened. In this day and age I'm surprised that this can even happen. This thing is huge as well.

It won't hit the earth at 18,000mph, the atmosphere will slow it down a lot first.

Here's a live tracker of it, some estimate it to deorbit in about 10 hours. We are safe here in Canada, but the lower 2/3 of the US and mainland China have the possibility of it landing there (basically anyone south of 42 degrees latitude). Hopefully though it hits the ocean.

Every other rocket company has means to deliberately de-orbit their rockets into a safe spot of the ocean. Apparently the Long March 5B doesn't have that capability, or it has failed both times it was launched.

There appears to be some video on twitter showing it travelling through the atmosphere over the Maldives in the Indian Ocean. I'm sure this will be confirmed by morning.
