First sled was a old yellow olympic (i think). Had the carb pointing right at your chest when you were sitting down. I was only 11 or 12 at the time.Next was a polaris 340 star twin, then a 440 kawi invader. That was a cool machine, fast for its size. Still have it sitting in the shed, pretty much mint, take it out every couple years and cruise around. Will try to see if I have any pics.

Had a couple others, but now am riding a '08 M8.

First i ever drove was my dads 95 xlt special. Then he got me a 95-97 340 jag i dont remember the year exact and a 1990 440 prowler, he got a good deal on each and we got rid of the 340 after one ride, it was way too slow. That 440 prowler was the hottest S*** haha, i was a cat man then but my next three have been polaris. I still have a little feeling for cat thoe.

Mine was a 1976 Jag 3000. Bullet proof sled. In all the years we had it all we did was 1 belt, 1 set of plugs, hyfax, and ski rods. Wish I still had it.

Wouldn't it be awesome to have a sled museum with all the old sleds listed in this post. Lots of classic iron here. It makes me chuckle thing of all the "good times" that were had on sleds that were nothing more than a engine, ski's and a track. No fancy suspension (or any at all) no big HP's, but still the same "good times". Some things will never change.

1976 Ski Doo Elan 250... Rode it around when I was 6 or 7 years old. It quit running quite a few years back and got parked in the field until last year. Pulled it out, cleaned up the carb, and it fired right up. :d

You matured well :d:d My older brother bought a '83 Doo 5500, way back when, hoping it would out perform all of the '81 el'tigres we had in the family at the time. Needless to say he sold it that year. Bought an '84 el'tiger. (same as the '81's). Funny how the old stuff was elvolving just like the current day machines are?

Great pic of you on the old Doo!

Look at the carb.....straight into the face! It's a miracle I can see or breath.

Loved the 5500 for the time I had it.
