Ya I remember the 300 Olympic and the Chapperal. A friend of mine had a Nordic around 1970. Can't remember if it was a 340 or 399.

First Sled I ever drove myself would be my cousins 440 Arctic Cat

My first sled to own is a 700 Yamaha Venture 2003... looking to find something different though.

don't know what year It was but the first snowmobile I drove was a 340 tnt. the first snowmobile I owned was I believe a 1985 Artic cat el tigre 500 liquid cooled sled.

I blolted on 1 inch plastic paddles, and I left me stranded south of fernie somwhere. Came back 2 weeks later and could'nt find it because it snowed more than 8 feet. Next spring some quader phoned me up claiming to have found my sled. I have some good and bad memories of that sled

My dad started his three boys on a73' 340 Olimpque, my older brother bought a 81 Citation SS and a couple years later I bought a 82 Yamaha SS440.Still have all three at the farm and they all run except the SS440 is one my younger brother bought (mine kinda got mutilated over time) and his is mint. Things have gotten out of hand since then, between the three of us we have 15 sleds........no shortage when friends come over:D

Mine was a early 70 s model about 70-72 polaris colt 340 sled twin carb , the guy i bought if from couldnt get it started so he sold it to me for 100 bucks , the only way to start it was sprayin either in the carbs but boy once it started that sled saw hundreds of miles in the kootney mtns , and alots of crashes but kept running was the best 100 bucks i spent as a kid next to buying my frist truck to haul it around with, miss those days,
