looking at getting a second sled for my better half, would be used mostly for mountain riding, would be good if it was fairly nimble lol since my old lady isnt very big.... was thinkin an m7, m8, 700 dragon, MAYBE an xp..... dont really want to spend more then 7500 MAX. honest opinions would be appreciated.

any of those good choices. ( not a Polaris hater but never rode with a dragon that doesn't fall apart) m7 would be my choice if I were u I think.

If you can find a 10 Rmk 600 155 i suggest that. Had a M1000 and bought the 600 for wife. Liked the 600 and sold the 1000. Rode it two years and sold it to move to 800 pro.
That little 600 carried my 280lbs and was a blast!!

My vote is for an M8...and you can pick one up for less than $7500. The newer M's 2009, 10 & 11's are nice since they have the newer updated tunnels and the 10's and 11's have the shorty seat. M7's are good too, just doesn't have reverse. Don't over look the M6 either, I rode one for two seasons....they are just harder to find out there. I used to ride an M before my ProClimb and found they are easy to maneuver and control. My 14 year old daughter rides it now (shares with her older brother) and she is about 115 lbs. So, yeah, it's a great sled for a lady rider just starting out.

Second this. My wife rides this same sled the odd time, and loves it, finds it easy to maneuver etc. she may end up inheriting it next year. Likes it way better than my previous SB 144. She may find a pink wrap on it for her next year. Lol.

X2 700 dragons are wicked sleds, reliable and they got some power.

I got my old lady an M7 this year for her first sled. She has ridden a few times before this year but nothing too serious. She really likes the feel of it, not too heavy and she can get it to lean over and isnt scared of its power. Its also nice that she can pull the cord and get it started by herself. Unfortuately it got smashed into in the parking lot our 4th day out with it and its unrideable for a while. But shes pumped to get out on it again so thats a good sign im thinkin!
