With no cash being allowed to be used all our transactions are being followed also. They know where everyone is and where we’ve been.

Take a look at how many bots are grabbing your info when you use tapatalk!

Seemed like a few pages worth last time I signed the agreement

^^^ the issue isn’t that you are sharing data, it’s that this may be used against you. This taste of communism is going to get worse before better. I like Sweden’s approach better.

If the tracking becomes an actual problem, people will start gaming the system. Like the guy in the UK that travelled with 100 'cell phones'. Google maps showed a traffic jam every time he stopped, so Google started routing all other traffic away from him. Made the drive much better for himself. The government will always be on the lower end of expertise when it comes to technology.

if they dont take my cash i dont shop there
You would not be able to buy groceries in Lacombe. I guess the bright side is all the drug dealers and such have to use their bank cards like everyone else.
I was just surprised at the details of the article as which demographic was leaving the most. There really is nothing left to hide anymore.

Bluetooth and location are shut off on my phone unless I need them. Always have been.

Sure, that helps a bit, they can only tell your location within about 100m with those off. But do you have wifi on? With wifi on, the phone is always scanning the airwaves and based on what it hears they can figure out your location to pretty high accuracy if in an urban area. Even outside wifi coverage, the cell towers can figure it out within like 100m.

I leave everything on, dont care, not doing anything illegal, if they wanna track me, go for it.

Agreed.

It's not all bad, think about an emergency. If you pocket dial 911 and they can't get a hold of you cops will show up in a few minutes.
