Vintage Ski Doo

Has anyone ever come across a web site for pics on old ski doo?I remember as a teenager seeing a 60 ish ski doo with an engine that was a horizontal twin!Engine laid flat with a carb 'tower'!Pretty sure it got pushed up in a pile with some junk and never saw it again!!Will make for some good fighting material over christmas dinner!!Help!!

1969 Johnson Challenger. I've got one. Horizontally opposed twin engine. They used them up to at least 1973. Pretty cool!

That's the one!!!I never saw one before or since then!The neighbors were ski doo fanatics and at one point I counted at least 15 'carcasses'!They would drive them till they quit then go buy another one!!Thanks for the link!!

I used to have one like that. Sold it in 2000 to a neighbor.
