valemount group sledding

Myself and a group of 4 others are going to be riding vale mount from the 7th to the 11th of January. we are intermediate to expert riders with all the avalanche knowledge and equipment, just wondering where would be the best fit for us. doing the research everything seems to start at the cabin. is there usually quite a few people at the cabin that could point us to the right direction? or maybe even follow around for a bit? thanks:d

Yea there's usually lots of guys around that know the area, and most are willing to share info with you. You best best is the parking lot, next best bet is the cabin. Be sure to stock to the varda maintained areas as some areas do not have a cabin. There is also guiding services available if you would like to go that route. Hope this helps
