upgrading stock xcsp track, lug height?

I'm looking to upgrade the stock .91 track on my 01 600 xc sp this year and was wondering what the lallest lug people have run on this sled.

I know 1 1/4' is pretty common, but was leaning twards a 1 1/2-1 3/4. Would I have to notch the track to accomodate the heat extangers.

I have an 03 Edge XCSP and converted to a 2 inch. it just fits, without doing any mods, other than converting from 121 to 136. What a difference!

So if I understand correctly: The 2" with no mods will fit w/o notching the track? I was seriously considering a 136" x 1 3/4", so your saying that it would not be a problem. Thanks for the input!!
