I was having some bogging on my 09 m1000 and after lots of tuning w/ PCV and Auto Tuner, decided it was probably an air intake issue - my BDX intake only took air from the front bottom of the sled, which was proned to getting blocked w/ snow in deep conditions. So I cut a couple of small holes and covered w/ some frogskins so it could also take air from inside the engine compartment - problem solved!

I also cut my stock skiis - from the spindle back on the outside - took about an inch off - it rolls over much easier and stays over much easier. Didn't change sleds flotation as far as I can tell. This makes trail riding worse - pushes the front in corners more, but we only ride trails to get to the steep/deep, so I'll gladly pay that price.

Anyway, thought I'd share.
