Twins vs/ Single for 700 RMK

Just wondering if anybody has used both and which one they found superior for mid-range power and noise... (or is it really any contest haha)
I have seen the slp dyno charts, what I am looking for is more of a mid-range grunt, what I am finding is a few good deals on twin setups...what are the noticeable differences between the two? Should I hold out for a single?

I havent riden with both but mine has the twin setup and it works really well. slp says 16hp with the twin setup so really you couldn't go wrong.
