I feel I need to mess with my secondary this year, I've put a 151 on my 700 and have 19/42 gearing....
As far as I have been able to tell, the stock helix angle for a 97 was around 45-34? Does that make it an R-11? What would be a good deep powder boondocking setup for this sled..there is a 54/38 black max I am considering because it is cheap but it might be a little much...I've read that both the R-12(50/36) and the R8(50/34) might be good for my application..
who's running what, I dont really want to spend over 100... thanks

I'd stay around 34-36 on the finish angle. The R-8 is a decent helix, i may have one! Let me check what i have for helixs and springs. What secondary spring are you using now!

I'm using the silver/blue spring in the 2nd hole, and my helix seems to be a straight-angle 36..is this possible? I am thinking I would like a little more grunt out of the hole...If you could find me something else to try I would be stoked!
