Got off the dyno again this weekend. Got my small block tuned up to get back into the truck. Made a few mods and did over 50 dyno pulls trying different things. And this is what we came up with.
We started with a pair of Vic. Jr heads and a hydro .541 .526 lift cam. Then we went to a set of AFR 205 heads and the same cam. And we finnished off with the AFR's and a mechanical roller .621 and .627 lift and 254 260 duration. Its a very streetable 10.5 compression. Its going into a 79 short box reg cab F-100. Roller C4 with a trans brake, 3800 stall, 3.70's on a spool out back. Line lock, 2 step MSD box, and to top it off a 200hp nitrus kit.
