Even tho it's only a 180 kit at elevation it's probably going to have 40 hp on the doo.

Haha must be the rider cause theres no way its a smack down. My Old M1100 turbo would kill my 163 xm in a straight up climb hands done. Thats all it could do though was climb.

At 6000ft, a XM will be down to around 125hp pulling a monster 174 3".....the yamaha still has 180hp turning 162 2.5" at very high speed.....yup the XM will stomp it on a climb

The xm weighs at at 460lbs. what does the Yamaha weigh 560 give or take 20lbs.

Wow, if you guys that snow checked at a new 174 t3 thinking it's going to out climb a mpi viper your gonna be disappointed next year. Buddy had a 174 3" xm last year and it was very good. He had the variable helix secondary in it and a can. His track speed was around 42 mph. Corrected for 7 tooth drivers. Awesome sled handled amazing but not a killer on the hill climbs. Not saying it can't be made into one. Guys are getting 60 + mph track speeds with a 872 big bore. I think the new t3 is going to be awesome but a little reality here doo fans!
