torque limiter bolts broken

[stealth 800]

I was riding this weekend. heard a noise stoppped and check it out. found the 3 bolts on torque limiter in front of primary clutch broken. it bounced around into the primary and put a hole in my side panel.. has any one else see this..
forgot to say that is a summit 800x ---2009
