I changed an axle on my quad, and to make the job alot easier there is a tool I purchached from Princess Auto for $30. This made it so much easier than using a fork tool for separating the Ball joint from the front spindle. This tool does not damage the boots either. I put a small amount of silicone grease on the boot to prtect them. This made the job alot easier.

Ron,

My Outlander 800 with 2" H.L. lift and renegade springs in the front has now broken 2 left front axles (close to diff) in 4 rides. Did you replace your axles with something stronger? Cost? Heard you had a little axle trouble...story here?

That axle in the picture is the replacement Gorillia axle. The factory axles break at the inside cv joint. They can't take the big aggresive tires and the 2" lift.

What is a set of Gorilla Axles worth?
