Tips for monitoring avy conditions

If you have any suggests for monitoring avy conditions, post them here. I'll start with one that I use. Regions Use this link and go to the region you ride in. Place a shortcut for that regional forecast on your desktop and read it before you ride. This is pretty much just for B.C. and Alberta, but other areas should have similar info available. The point is - if you have the shortcut on you desktop, so it is easy to get to, and read it regularly you'll be much more informed

Good post CD....

You can register with the CAC (Canadian Avalanche Center) for email bulletins. They come daily during the Xmas holidays, and over the course of the winter they are for Mon., Wed., and Fri. A great source of information and education.

Get in the habit of reading them and become informed....ride safe and be responsible.....

Take an avy course you'd be amazed at what you learn even those of you that have been ridin in the mountains for years.
