A guy from work has his old beat up dodge 4X4 stolen out of his driveway with his 2001 Yamaha 700 triple in the box at 2 in the afternoon while he was at work. No insurance on anything, including home owners. Dummy!

He reports it to the GRC and leaves it with them. 5 days later he happens to drive by one of the local wreckers with a friend and spots his truck, (no sled) in the compound. It cost him $300.00 for towing and 4 nights in storage. GRC didn't inform him it was recovered and there it sat racking up storage fees.

That was a week ago. GRC has yet to call him about it.

Thieves will steal anything.
When I was in bonnyville some guys stole our old dodge shop truck. Unit didn't have a straight panel on it t/case was welded into 2 wheel drive as there was a big hole in it and the front drive was blown up. Rear diff was welded solid as the pinion gears and shaft were worn right out overheated if drive more than 1 hr at a time 4 bald tires etc but it still got them half way around moose lake before They hit the ditch and got stuck lol took us 2 days to find it
