the spring inside the clutch(secondary)broke!!!

hy.my 2008 ski-doo summit x had problemes,i was losing power in deep snow and found that the spring inside the secondary clutch it is broken.do you hava any ideea wy ih broke?is normal to brake?thanks

you think that if i put the spring and the rollers from 2009xp it will go better?

no just replace the secondary spring. it does happen. nothing is wrong with your sled its one of those freak things.

dont bother with the 09 components except the spring cup for your primary.

while your in the secondary make sure the rollers are in good shape.

ok,i will take a look at the rollers.my sled in deep snow it was not taking rpm,is it posible because of the that spring it was broken?

Yep, have broken primary and secondary springs over the years. It happens. Yes your RPM would have been down because of the broken spring, as maxwell said.
