if your intested in knowing something about the racing world in quads, then this is a good read...lol of course its only can-am's wins from this year cause its a new release from can-am......
[h=1] Can-Am ATV & SxS Racers Win Around the World
Can-Am Outlander Utiliity ATV, Can-Am Maverick SxS, Can-Am DS450 ATV[/h]Valcourt, Québec (9/19/2013) - Can-Am ATV and side-by-side racers competed in numerous racing series in North America and Europe, coming away with several wins and four individual championships. Zac Zakowski won two titles in the Iowa Short Course Series. Two Can-Am DS 450 ATV racers also won championships. Keven Vachon won the Courses VTT Pro 450 class Canadian championship and Jeremie Warnia won the European Quad Motocross Championship in France.
“Can-Am racers have had a successful season throughout the world. Recently, our racers have earned many victories and several championships,” said Jeff Leclerc, Racing Project Leader, Can-Am. “Jeremie Warnia, Keven Vachon and Zac Zakowski earning championships proves that Can-Am offers excellent, race-proven vehicles.”
European Motocross Championship Racing Series
Round six of the European Motocross Championship series was recently held in Dardon Gueugnon, France. Motoworks / Can-Am DS 450 Pro Jeremie Warnia won the EMX Quad championship for the second consecutive season with a dominant performance. Warnia, who won the 2011 WORCS Pro ATV Championship, had built a huge points lead heading into round six and secured the title with a convincing 1-1 sweep.
Courses VTT ATV Racing Series
Can-Am DS 450 Pro Keven Vachon wrapped up the Courses VTT ATV Pro class title with second-place podium finish at round seven held in Saint-Marcel, Quebec. Vachon earned seven podiums and had four wins in 2013. Fellow DS 450 Pro Mathieu Deroy won round seven and finished runner-up to Vachon for the championship.
Iowa Short Course Racing Series
At round three of the Iowa Short Course Series, held in Chariton, Iowa, Zakowski Motorsports / Can-Am racer Zac Zakowski won both his ATV and side-by-side classes. The victories earned Zakowski both class championships, one on his Can-Am Outlander 4x4 and the other in his Can-Am Commander 1000 side-by-side.
“I've been working really hard over the years to collect some championships on my Can-Am machines,” said Zakowski. “It feels good to take home a double championship this year."
NEATV-MX ATV Motocross Hemonds MX - Round 10
Can-Am DS 450 Pro Josh Creamer (BCS Performance) won both the Pro and Pro-Am classes with 1-1 moto sweeps at round 10 of the NEATV-MX series in Minot, Maine. He was joined on both podiums by current Pro and Pro-Am class points leader and fellow DS 450 pilot Travis Moore, who finished third in both classes. In all, Can-Am DS 450 racers won six classes and earned 15 total podiums at round 10. The next round of NEATV-MX is scheduled for Sept. 28-29, at MX101 Moto-X Park in Epping, N.H.
WORCS SxS Racing - Honey Lake - Round 8
Dave Martinez (Murray Racing / Yoshimura / Can-Am) was the top finishing Maverick 1000R X rs pilot, earning fourth overall in the SxS Pro Production class, at round eight of WORCS in Milford, Calif. Can-Am racers Gilbert Flores (Motoworks), James Hill (Team IMG) Pablo Veglia (Del Amo Motorsports) finished fifth through seventh, respectively.
