Well what a way to start off the season
Out Trail Maintenance Crews have cleared all the trails in Ministik in November
They rode all 65km of trails in Ministik on Dec 2 and drilled the lakes – of 20 holes drilled the average was 8-10inches of ice – good to go
Just remember to watch for surface water under the snow but on top of the ice

DATE: Sunday December 16, 2012
EVENT: SANTA`s TOY RIDE
LOCATION: At Hay Lakes, turn south of Highway 21 at Range Road 215, approximately 1 km (Flaggers will be at the intersection to direct you to the parking area)
This is a Santa`s anonymous ride which we ask you to bring a toy/gift and either attach it to your sled or drop it off at the TCSC equipment trailer in the staging area
Also instead of a toy/gift you can just make a donation too. See Brian at the TCSC Trailer
This is a FAMILY RIDE for about 30km in the ditches of Hi-Way 21
Ride north from Hay Lakes along Hi-way 21 up to Hi-way 625 – stop for a break and then ride back to Hay Lakes
There will be a Free BBQ and refreshments at the staging area upon our return
Everyone/kids are welcome to ride around the fields back at the BBQ after the main ride.
CANCELLATION: this ride will be cancelled if on Saturday the forecasted high temperature for
SUNDAY is -20 degrees or colder (or check the TCSC website Saturday)
