Interesting update. Trailer was recovered about 1 km from where it was stolen, but inside empty and stripped out. Pried apart rear lock hasps on both sides of locking hardware. Oddly enough, City of Penticton bylaw enforcement ticketed it for overdue parking 3 weeks before recovery. Shows lack of communication between law enforcement agencies here. Not sure why it wasn't a hit on police or DMV database.
Learned 2010 Summit is now black and metallic red. Not my first choice of colours, but not my sled now either. If you see someone with a vintage ( 1980's) yellow and orange Skidoo toque, not too many around, and may be mine. All my equipment in a grey and orange LoweAlpine and a black/red Woods backpack is still out there. No word on the yellow 2009. No DESS keys means no go. Tough month so far. Both sleds had tunnel bags, BRP fuel caddies, dash bags, riser bag on 09. Thanks to all who are keeping an eye out for my rides.

09 was recovered in Chilliwack BC in spring 2019. Trailer equipment(shovel, come along, Stanley 109 pce. Black Chrome, lawn chairs (2) green cloth, handlebar muffs, belts, oil, Skidoo tools, Lowe alpine backpack(grey/orange Powderline 22, Ortovox F1 beacon, Skidoo shovel with internal saw, 2 Skidoo fitted covers, aluminum helmet rack 26" wide, 4 foot aluminum folding wall table, 1 front superclamp, 2 rear super lamps, along with 2010 SummitX 800 /163, black body with orange (now red) skidoo Linq gas can and Linq carry bag and numerous other snowmobile related items still missing.
