As soon as the weight comes off my skis I can't turn the bars, I suspect bent steering post, any ideas?

Did you happen to put the S36 kit on it? If you have the steering column with the long swing where your tie-rods attach your tie rods hit the sway bar brackets when the suspension is unloaded

If you don't update the steering post to a 2010 style, you should install a set of XP Spindle Spacers, after fixing any damage that is.

X2 I had to put in the new steering column.
Don't remember the instructions saying anything about having to upgrade the steering post, thought the spindles was the fix all. If Im having to do a post upgrade, might as just well do the post forward and not use the spacers.

The instructions don't say anything about it. I updated Spindles/skis at the same time as the S-36 and then noticed a clearance issue. Went and talked to dealer and parts had no idea but the service manager said oh yeah you need the newer steering column
