Spring riding areas

A group from Calgary is looking to head to Golden for the weekend. Has anyone been out lately. I heard Silver Mines may be the place to go this late in the season.

We have ridden Silent Pass a number of times, but not silver mines. Is the staging still at 17KM? Any insist would be appreciated.

At km 17 stay left and follow the road to the staging area. I was there 3 weeks ago the trail up was rough, and by now the snow line way be alot higher(Sleddecks recomended). But once your up there its great watch for avies there are some big ones out there. Have fun and let me know what the trail is like?
