Just got back today, you might want to push your trip if you can. Unless you know Renshaw really well and can go beyond Spirit.

Check out the pics under February Conditions - that's your best bet. A bit of light snow up top the last two days, but not the big dump we are hoping for yet. You can still find some great snow, but you have to go looking for it. Best to ride with someone that knows the areas further out. Could be well worth your $$$ to hire a guide if you haven't been here before. Adrenaline Tours - PM "Shifty423" for info or call them at 1-877-569-7236

Avalanche rating is "Moderate". You won't have any troubles unless you are VERY careless.

There is still good snow but chances are you will need one of us to find it! Rod took Steve myself and a few others out on Sat and we went way back turns out as busy as the renshaw is all of our secret spots are still hidden the Albertans only found one bowl that is usually zipped past but last time we were out Rod put a track up that a few boys followed into a sweet wonderland! Takes a little more work to get to but well worth the ride!

The snow conditions absolutely suck for this time of year, worst I've seen for as long as I can remember. Not saying don't go, just don't expect much when you get there. Snowed up top sunday for a little while, didn't amount to more than an inch or 2 though and was very wet, sunday night snowed again up top but again less than 2 inches, didn't cover up any of our tracks. We had an excellent weekend considering the weather, but not even close to what normally we would expect. Still hitting lots of rocks, lots of open spots in the creeks and probably less than half the snow we should normally have by now.
To sum up, it's spring conditions, hero snow, what I'd expect in late April or May riding. Would love to post pics but forgot the cameras at home, so just check out Treemogrel's pics, he remembered the camera.
