Just wondering if a kitty cat snowmobile needs to be insured and registered for these events?

I'm 99% sure these are classified as miniature motorized vehicles by the Traffic Safety Act which means they do not need registration. As a side note, it's not legal to ride these on any public road or sidewalk.

Even though I'm pretty sure of my answer, I've got a call into the Snowbobile Club president just to be sure.

Is there any cc limitations for these events? My 11 yr old son rides a LC 500 and I would hate to bring him out and he not be able to take part.

There are no CC limitations, so he will be just fine.

Sounds like fun. Is there actually snow out there?

Yeah, it's a real hoot when the weather cooperates. It sure is fun watching the kids compete, especially those on the mini z's - frigg'n cute!

I was out there on the 18th and there was still plenty of snow. ...well, enough to host the event anyway. However, with the weather we've had since then, I'll have to ask a local.

The 14 day weather trend is suggesting it will be +1 C!

Looks like the weather is going to hold. High of +1, low of -4!
