not on this one.... I saw it with my own eyes.

Humm, Not sure what you were seeing. Im curious post some pics of your truck if you can.
Ram uses the AAM 11.5” rear end in both the 2500 and the 3500 SRW. Your 1500 should have a 9.25 AAM rear axle.

maybe a different day, heading to fernie right now in a Chevy. doesn't really matter any ways, but visually they are identical. think I'd be fine with 2 sleds in the old dodge haha

You don't need brakes on a 1/2 with 2 sleds on the deck,,, that's why they make 1 1/4" winch cable and heavy duty boat anchors... When in dought throw the anchor... Ha

And why would a person want to use the brakes when the plan is to get to where your going,,, if we need to stop,,, drive into a snow bank,,, this has been a given since the days of dog sleds and steam trains... LOL...

Today's automatic transmissions have built in stopping power as well,,, we can find it in the R for Rock-up,,, works at 1 to 100 mpr,,, a bit of a bang going in,,, but you won't notice much so long as you keep the Accelerator peddle to the rug...

2 sleds on a deck of a 1/2 ton is old school,,, the new pack horse 1/2 tons are now packing 3 sleds,,, we heard roumers that the double sled decker is being released this fall,,, a solid chunk of fire-wood between the leaf springs and frame to keep the rear bumper off the ground as your good to go...

Lifes just that simple... Ha

I'll put it too you like this. when I look at a corvettes brakes it's easy to see that the rotors are massive, drilled full of holes, made out of something else and the calipers are 4x as big. when I look at buddies 2500hd brake, I'm like wtf those are the same brakes I have. if they happen to be a mm thicker whoopy do.

Just picked this up today. Looking for a deck. Might just build one out of two by fours.
