It doesn't really shred the cheese it just kinda smears it into a big pile on the end of it and then the cheese falls of in a big glob, I too was made a sucker and bought both the slap chop and the graty, I was so dissapointed, it worked so good for Vince in the commercial.

No I didn't call in time that twenty minutes go's by so fast, but you know they cant do that all day!

My little ones love the slap chop. I have only used it to chop nuts for topping my ice cream, but that it did well. My 2-yr-old can't even push it down far enough to mark the food consistently, let alone chop it.

What is disturbing is how my 4-yr-old was captivated by the slap-chop commercial. He insisted in getting me one for christmas. I guess kids like crack-heads. Maybe I shouldn't be so picky with baby sitters.

You guys should really watch the one in the other "shamwow" thread or find the link to the "Scamnow" parody on Youtube (probably on the right hand side of this one). When I watched it the other day I almost fell off the computer chair I was laughing so hard. Not for those at work or with kids around but it is funny as hell.

LMFAO.....my wife had to come downstairs to our computer room to see what all the laughing was about....Good one ...made my day....One thing about some of these is back in the day....yes many moons ago.... you coud buy a K-Tel record that wasn't available anywhere and actually get some good tunes....YES ....bands like Rush were around then! LOL

He must be using a hopped up version cause his SLap Chop seems to work well on TV...! LOL.....guts are sore now! Thanks ....made my day...

i must addmitt i did like your review. Quite funny but honestly i love my slap chop. the sister-in-law has one and she can't stand it. i just tell her shes not using it right. mine works just fine, very similar to how it worked for vince on tv... well i'd love to see someone really do it with just one finger.

My wife has one but it's from Pampered Chef,.. and honestly I really like using it when my turn is in the kitchen.

This is one of the funniest things I've read in a long time!! Even worse, I was dumb enough to buy the knock-off slap chop from Zellers. What a piece of crap!!!
