My hats off to "Twin Turbo", I can't imagine trying to get a two stroke to run strong and reliable with a turbo let alone a twin turbo set up? This is a tall order indeed. Some guys can't even jet carbed two stokes to run properly when everything else on the sled is stock? However, you are asking for trouble when you turbo a 2 stroke. Combine all the additional heat that a turbo makes with elevation changes, ECU recalibration, fuel pressure (fuel injected sleds) and a whole bunch of crap that I don't even know about???

It takes a lot of guts, money and patients... I would imagine, to work out all the bugs to make this sled Rock! Did I say Money??

One more thing... compound all the above with the fact that he's working with a Doo and you get a real Hornets Nest! :D:D

Geez guys, he's just kidding around, let loose a bit!
this isn`t serious, it just shows how things are not what they seem on the internet. If Scotty was with Twin turbo he may change his mine about Doo:D, then again maybe not...who knows. But one blown doo and the stories speads...one blown belt and the XP`s are all garbage. Myself i`m not that brand loyal, I had a 03 Cat before the XP and loved it, now that I have riden the Xp I won`t ride less. This is not to say XP`s are better...I like the light weight, the high risers, the balance of the sled and power, to others it may not feel right and they maybe happier on the Apex or Dragon.

Someone has to do the testing on the two stroke turbos... same as someone has to do the testing on the New XP`s. If Twin Turbo can get it running on his XP too maybe, just maybe, I`ll think about getting the turbo done on mine. I just can`t afford to test two things in the same year, haha.

:)Well heres the scoop,,the main fuel pump wasnt putting out enough, plus different fuel led to this breakdown,,it also spit out the pieces of the piston through the turbo, causing more damage,,,,good news is,the turbo is a cheep fix,but has to be sent to usa and back,of course ill do the air thing,,
There you go guy's, no bull, no hidding breakdown, from TT..Remember the pump was the the main problem,,,going to check in on a after market...holly would be nice...lol
Anybody else have a fuel pump go down?????:D

Now, now... be nice. I'd love to join you guys sometime, if the wife would ever lend me the Firecat

For a near stock sled it rips good enough for now... at least I don't have to slam a million mods down it's throat to get it to perform!!!! lol :)

Looking at your long list of modded toys i'm guessing you like to improve everything or compensate for lacluster performance ;)

Next time I'm around McBride I'll look for your trailer at the staging area... it probably has big blue sponsor decals on the side... "VIAGRA" :D

Joking aside, I'd love see how those turbos work, sounds like a blast, bet they sound wild too.

Happy New Year Everybody

well said! everyone has different needs and wants and will or won't tolerate certain things. There is no PERFECT sled that everyone will like. I'm glad we have choices and variety!!:D
