Selling sled to the states

Selling my sled to a guy out of the states. What all does he need to be able to get the sled back across the border without any hassle?

He needs to get in contact with US customs. they will have all the info on what he is gonna need in terms of paperwork. He is going to need proof that there is no Canadian liens on the sled, and he is going to have to stop at the Canadian side and have the sled Exported from Canada. I can tell you from personal experience importing a car from the states the export process from the US side can take a while. He is best to call CBSA and US customs and they will tell him exactly what he needs

Send "bopper" a PM and ask him the question. He went through the process in the fall and had no issues.
