also i am aware of the thunder meadow ski touring area and would like to know where it is to stay away from. Not fun to ski across sled tracks!

Watch your aspects and the rating has risen to Considerable for the next three days. The cold has done a number as well as the recent loading. Have fun be careful.

ya we'll be sticking to the low rolly terrain under these conditions. want to try this area out but might wait till better avy conditions to get familiar with it!

Rode Little Sand over X-mas holidays - there was a crazy ice layer with 8" of fresh on top...could barely stand up on it if you were on any kind of slope! That being said - be careful, as avy danger will be huge with the recent new snow.
Thunder Meadows is way way back there...there's lots of riding without going back their for sure!!
