Want to try some different running boards. Anyone try Diamond S or Skinz? How were they to install and what was the benefit?

Hey RR

We are Skinz dealers. We installed some on our M6. They are pretty easy to install, you cut off your existing boards and then pop rivet the new boards on. They come in natural aluminum and powder coated black. Honestly we have not sold a set of natural aluminum in any brand to anyone. Everyone is getting the powder coated black ones. You get a set of screws that you put on the boards so you can set up your own grip configuration. Below are some pics of our install.

Trancquillicer from this site has a set on his Twisted M8 he has a pic of them in his profile pic and Justin Simon, Powderpilots partner, has a set on his sled. You could pm them to to get their opinions.

Here are some pics of Justin's install he actually bent up his boards in a mishap. Putting on the Skinz boards solved the problem without any major tunnel modifications or having to replace the tunnel.

RatSled.com has some nice wide ones. Tried them at last years sled show, and they fit my size 13's comfortable. Like the look of the Skinz set best though.
