Amount of snow isn't an issue. Its HOW the snow bonds.

Lots of snow can be a good thing.

its alctualy to much snow at one time witch is causing the unstable snow layer, it needs to settle, so yes too much snow is the problem right now till it settles

So far, our persistant layers are limited.

Last year was a deadly combination of crusts, hoar frost, etc. So far, once this snow settles we are doing pretty good with consistent, well bonding snow.

Vehicle accident somewhere between Revy and Golden has shut down the Hwy. No details yet. Hoping to re-open by noon. (Sorry Taminator...I see you beat me to this update)

i didnt say that its gunna be all year but we need cold clear skies for this snow to settle nice lets all hope for a safe season!
