I'm thinking of buying my wife a 2008 RMK 600. The picture on kijiji just shows the front of the machine and doesn't mention what track it had. I am assuming most 600s come in 144? Are the 08s fuel injected? Is there any problems with this engine or chassis? The last Polaris that we had was my dads 700 triple and its been cats and bombi since then so I have no idea about these newer Polaris models. 4800 obo sounds like a decent deal? The picture looks like its in really good shape.

Most were 144 but they also came in 155. You'll need to replace the plastic bumper with the aluminum ones they put on starting in 2009. Bullet proof motor and chassis. Believe that year was still carb, 2009 definitely is EFI as we still own one, too good to upgrade just yet.

Although not an RMK my last sled was a carbed 600 liberty. Was a good motor, and was in 144. Definitely get the real bumper, kit, that plastic pretend piece of crap is useless on those older IQ's.i don't know what Polaris was thinking. my 10' rmk has the aluminum bumper...what a difference.

if its a 144 track its a carb, if its 155 track its fuel injected. I have a 2006, the only problem i had was the voltage regulator quit, other than that no issues.

No need to get the new front, I have the skins bumper, it's cheapest from royal distributing. Hopefully it's a 155 with the fuel injected, I would have 3/4 of a tank at the end of the day on my 7 and a friend on the carbed 600 would need to add fuel to make it back.

my carbed 600 is worse on fuel than my buddies crossfire 1000 haha! its a pig, but makes good power for a 600.
