Hi all. Just want to bring to people's attention about some ongoing acts of vandalsim we've had to deal with at our Cabin. In the past year we've had our fire pit stolen (seriously) a couple windows broken along with some firewood taken.
Just this past weekend we get to the cabin and see that someone has taken our moose antlers we had on the wall behind the wood stove, used to hang gloves etc to warm up and that has the club name on it FFS, and they stole our old steel pipe axe with the club name welded onto the handle. One last thing, the same idiots used the axe to chop off the wall an old cedar salmon carving.
Our club has always been welcoming to riders from all over, and if you've been there, you know we have a nice little spot to warm up and have a rest and a snack. The increasing vandalism is forcing us to ask questions of how we monitor the site and how open we make our cabin in future.
I have no problem letting people know that as of now we have installed multiple game cameras in hidden locations and are looking into the very real possibility of a web camera for 24/7 monitoring.
If anyone comes accross the items taken that clearly have Lamont River Rats marked on them, a PM will be greatly appreciated. We promise no quality of life altering effects to the offending parties.....
