Riding In Smith Alberta?

I haven't been there in a year and was wondering if you're still able to ride there? When I was there before I think it was an old campground that I unloaded in right beside the highway? Leaving from Edmonton at 7ish and I just don't want to make the long journey there to find out you're not allowed to ride there anymore. Any other good areas along the way? did you mean in smith it self or at the turn to smith on hwy2

I think I was at an old campground that was just on the highway outside the town? There were tons of trails there and we spent most of the day riding...pretty sure it's all crown land.
