I recently picked up a brand new tire combo.
Wheels : ITP Rock Armour 12" Beadlocks (single beadlock)
Tires : Maxxis Bighorn 27x9x12 and 27x12x12
i tested them out this weekend and put about 200 KM.
WOW what a difference the beadlock tires make,
i think the beadlocks saved me from popping a bead atleast 7 or 8 times maybe more.
highly suggest them if you are running tight trails and find yourself rubbing up against stuff, especially in some of the main riding areas here in alberta.
my last tires were 26" ITP blackwater Evolution which were a fantastic tire, but were a bit small and squirrelly with my turbo.
the larger diamater really makes the machine much smoother, more stable and way more predictable at all speeds. overall very impressed with the bighorns.
