reeds or pipe

can anyone tell me what would be a better bang for my buck, a pipe wiht my can or a set of reeds. I have a 08 xp

depends what you want the result to be.

pipe will give you a good power boost.
reeds will give you incredible throttle response and
give you a little more power in the mid-range.

....so it kinda depends on what you are trying to achieve.

....sorry, just reread your post and I would do the reeds, the summit factory pipe is real hard to improve on.

I would agree, if you look at the XP factory pipe, not much room in there to make a big differance. Y-pipe is a good money spent.
