I might go for a rip out to east of nordegg on either sat or Sunday. Lots of snow there too... We drove through the storm sat night coming back from golden.

crap i was so close to driving down there on saturday but decided against it... dumb move there and now im in camrose this coming saturday for my avi course... i guess ill just have to wait until the 16-17 for my avi field day and a day of riding in valemount...

Where are the pics of the 2 feet in Caroline imdooin? You mentioned the bountiful white stuff on 7 or 8 different threads but no pics. I'd drive the five hours in a heartbeat this weekend if I had some evidence.

no time for pics i'm workin. snow has dropped 6-10 inches with the warm weather, should be a good base if we get more snow. there are a lot of land mines just under the fluffy stuff. get a fluz map of west country so you know where you can or cannot go.

I was told that the same snow conditions were west of Bearberry. A fellow told me it was about mid thigh deep. That was last Sunday so no doubt it has settled quite a bit since then but it still should help in forming a good base. If we get another good dump that will mean great conditions in the west central foothills!!!!!

yeah we were pushin knee high powder snow on sunday, monday. today it had settled ansd hardened up some, snow still to bottom of truck box, tough pushing through. lots of land mines under the snow, better to wait a few days and see if we get some more snow.

ya i was working at bearberry on tuesday and there is lots of snow out there if somone wants to go for a rip ... down in water valley today and lots there to 1-2 feet id say even after its settled

as for the fluz map, just go. the RC's and the forestry are too lazy to chase the sled/atv stealing indians, so do like a native around here just out run em......
