True story,Chinese bolts. At least they’re recalling quickly and not waiting for a hundred or so to fail lol.

It a problem with the plating process they said in a video to the dealers. Some became brittle in the process. They say if they are checked for torque and hold they are good.

Does this apply to every 18 or specific vin numbers?

All as far I know. Phone dealer with vin to verify for sure.
