Rebuild '05 700 kingquad ?

Overheated the KQ, not seized but no compression. Any suggestions? Do the 750 BB upgrade or rebuild? What is an average cost for a complete rebuild?

it sound like the rings lost there sealing ability. new jug, rings gaskets and piston, you may have also warped the head and or the cam, you will have to check that yourself or take it in. I did the same thing an after checking on the price went with the big bore kit, I just sent my jug to be bored,and it came with the gaskets and piston and rings. Now it is 12 to 1 and I have to run at lease mid grade fuel,my quad was a 700, 2006 now 750.1 cc hold on an shut up and ride

Had my 05 pile up on me a few years ago had extended warenty I think the cost was 7300 to rebuild it! Worth more then the quad was! Thank god for extended warenty! Still cost me 1800, they said the oil pump pin fell out!
