Rear Shock for 1998 Summit 670X

My rear shock is shot. It's not rebuildable so I'm looking for a decent aftermarket replacement. Does anyone know the measurements or the specs that the replacement shock should be? Is it the same as the 1999 Summit 670X? There seems to be relpacements listed for the 1999 Summit X but not the 1998... Thanks!

should be the same size, the only difference is the 99's had hpg rebuildables. thus the diferent part number. doo used the same rear skid from 96 to like 05 or later i think.
