I just did an 04 Grizzly, was very easy. Only took about an hour to do both sides. I'm not sure if the setup is the same as the grizzly but if you need I can give ya rough directions. Shoot me a pm and I'll type something up for ya.

I think I have the same problems. I have a 2000 yamaha kodiak 400 and noticed what appears to be oil coming from the left axel on the side with the break. I guess I need to figure out how to change the rear seals out. Can you tell me how hard this is and do I need to remove the whole axel? Thanks in advance.

Is the 400 independent axles?....I thought all the 400's were solid axles
