Sad to say but have seen this many times. Big companies with eyes bigger then stomach's. More money then brains, often not a good thing. I have been a witness to on a couple occasions to "highly educated idiots"

i have worked for Shell off and on over the years as a subcontractor.......I try and avoid working for them, their offshore exploration mentality spills into to their land based ideas also. But they have a hell of a pension plan!!.....lol

x2. I was working on the North Slope when this happened. Was all over the news but never heard the whole story like that.
